Busy weekend..

Made the big switch over from one internet provide to the other-totally stressed out over changing email address's.

Got a big jump on Christmas shopping..I do delcare myself the bargain Queen :-)

I dove into big needle knitting-in love with quick knits!

Found a easy peasy yummy peanut butter cookie recipe-bake I will.

Cleaned about 35% of the basement-feel like that is enough.

Making real fried french fries for supper!

Choose my new camera-took the others back-yeah-snap snap ;-)

Got my craftiness on and did 2 scrapbook pages.

So what is shaking in your neck of the woods??

I dug out some of my OLD Fancy Pants felt & put it to good use.

Here is my layout..I used 4 of the 5 concepts listed this week!

Warm Vanilla Sugar...yum :-)

I picked this up at Bath & Body Works (had a great clerk there btw-she gaves us both lots of coupons and made sure we got free stuff!) and just have to tell ya'll how absolutely yummy it is! I think it is my favorite out of all of the stuff I picked up there...I even skipped the foaming soaps this time in favor of other bodily delights..lol

It is called Warm Vanilla Sugar..

It is a great lotion and smells devine..has a smidgen of a shimmer..perfect!

Pumpkin Carving

Had a little pumpkin carving contest--something fun to do on a Sunday afternoon!

Those little carving kits are the best-the "knives/saws" that come with them are perfect.

Much easier than using a knife!

Personally I like a handy dandy pattern..K is the only one who went freestyle..lol

We saved the seeds and are in the process of getting them ready to roast-they just need to finish up their salt soak and then I will dry them..yuum!

If one can be smitten by stamps I would say that the Technique Tuesday stamp in the Ali Edward font does it for me..lovely! Just great for titles!

My October Mystery Kit!

Just a *few* sneeks from my work with the October Mystery Kit from The Paper Passion!

My kit was made up of Sassafras Amplify products..SWEET!

I loved the clear stamps-I think the pointing finger is my favorite :-)

I used lots of the Disco Deck cards, Blossoms & the Cameo brads!

Went to see Blue Man Group last night..yeah!

Wasn't quite sure what the expect...and was actually blown away!

Loved seeing them become Megastars..lmao!

It was very entertaining, they engage the audience and really get you moving!

It is such a hilarious show..fun stuff :-)

Not giving anything away-just go see it if you have the chance!

Last night we saw him do this one..

as well as Micheal Jackson and John Lennon..

Crazy I tell ya!

Vegas was Fantastic!

We got home super later Wednesday night from our "anniversary" trip to Las Vegas!
It was our first time there and yep-will be going back :-)
What can I say-we loved it!
We had a great time with our friends Ian & Nicole-they were 10 star, A+, top notch tour guides seeing as they had been there before-it was awesome to tour the sites with them!  :-)
Toured the strip-did most of the fun stuff there..Wax Museum, Roller Coaster, Effiel Tower, Bellagio Fountain, Hoover Dam etc. Checked out the casino's..
Shopped the Outlet mall, Town Center Mall & The Fashion Show Mall & get this-customs charged me no duty-bonus!!!
Saw a great show called LOVE, The Beatles by Cirque Du Soliel-it blew me away!
We gambled..won just enough to keep recyclying it..and a nice amount that allowed me the bonus purchases of 2 purses and 5 pairs of shoes after I thought I was done shopping..YES!
Drank 52 ounces of Pina Colada..well my hubby had to take over for me-it was sooo strong & the drink was in a HUGE Effiel Tower drink container-I couldn't carry it..lmao!
Can't beat 1.00 Margarita's and 2.00 Corona's. Love free drinks in the casino's :-)
Our hotel was over the top-Ventian-had a sweet suite-hated to leave-somehow my living quarters don't compare!
We had a few glitches along the away-cancelled flight,lost camera & over perfumed hotel lobby..but nothing that would stop me froms saying...I LOVE VEGAS!
